“Embrace diversity and inclusion down the road”
IEEE WIE Sri Lanka Section hold its’ first-ever social gathering event: “Embrace Diversity & Inclusion Down the Road”, focusing on promoting diversity and inclusion among university students and higher education institutions. The event was held on 9th March 2019 at Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management (CAHM), Malabe with a participation of over 50 young and energetic individuals. The event manifested itself to a 4-hour productive session with the generous support from LSEG.
The occasion was highlighted with a momentous stage play, starring the members of the LSEG Software Engineers, followed by a fruitful discussion and several activities among the participants. It was a huge success with a long-term agenda of bridging the diversity gap and embracing cultures at workplaces.
