On behalf of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section, I, Dr. Lalantha Samaranayake, the nominating officer for the year 2018, will accept nominations for the following elected executive officers of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section for the term from February 2018 to January 2019.

1. Chairman-Elect
2. Secretary
3. Assistant Secretary
4. Treasurer
5. Assistant Treasurer
6. Editor

A nominee must be a Graduate Student Member, Member, Senior Member or Fellow Grade of IEEE. Each nomination must be supported by 3 or more current IEEE members belonging to the IEEE Sri Lanka Section. The following details must be submitted with the nominations:

1. The position for nomination
2. The name, member number, telephone number and e-mail address of the member being nominated
3. The names, member numbers, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of the supporters

The nominations should be sent to the following address to reach the undersigned by 04:00 pm on Wednesday 31^st January 2018. Nominations may also be e-mailed to me at [email protected] with the Subject IEEE Nomination. You are strongly advised to call me on 0716848319 if you do not receive an acknowledgment of your nomination within 2 working days.

Please note that the Chair-Elect for 2017, Prof. Kithsiri Liyanage, will be the Chair for 2018. Dr. Sanath Jayawardana will be the immediate past Chair.
