IEEE Sri Lanka Section Awards 2025

The IEEE Sri Lanka Section is elated to announce the opening of Phase I of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section Awards 2025, set to recognize the outstanding contributions for 12 awards under Organizational Units Awards and Special Activity Award categories.

These accolades will be presented at the IEEE Sri Lanka Section Awards Ceremony on the second day of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section Students | Young Professionals | Women in Engineering Congress 2025 to honour and showcase the projects organised by our dedicated IEEE volunteers that have made a significant impact on the community.

Nomination Process

Nomination for the awards shall be submitted by filling out the online application below. The nominee will have to fill out the nomination form and complete each section in a concise manner

Nomination Period: 15th of July 2025 to 31st of July 2025

Judging Committee

The Judging Committee will include members from the IEEE Sri Lanka Section Executive Committee and prestigious IEEE Sri Lanka Section Volunteers.

The decision of the judging committee shall be final and cannot be challenged.

Judging Period: 1st of August 2025 to 31st of August 2025

Award Instrument

A certificate & a token of appreciation will be presented.

Presentation

The awards will be presented on day two at the IEEE Sri Lanka Section Students | Young Professionals | Women in Engineering Congress 2025

Record

The Awards Committee will maintain a record of award recipients on the IEEE Sri Lanka Section website (https://ieee.lk/awards/)

Publicity Rights

Information provided by the nominators for the IEEE Sri Lanka Section awards may be used for promotional and/or publicity purposes on IEEE websites, Facebook, Twitter & other social media handles, printed materials and press releases etc. By submitting a nomination, nominators and nominees agree to the release of submitted information

Evaluation Criteria

Each nomination will be evaluated with a predefined criterion and shall be given a score out of a hundred (100).
