IEEE Sri Lanka Section Awards 2023

The IEEE Sri Lanka Section holds its annual awards ceremony to acknowledge the initiatives being undertaken by the Section and to highlight those that best serve its community. The awards will honor the dedication and hard work of all enthusiastic IEEE volunteers in the best way possible, with the presence of prominent IEEE leaders, from students and academia to the industry. By honoring outstanding achievements in a number of award categories, this platform will recognize the efforts made by the IEEE volunteering community.

As part of the annual effort to recognize our members, IEEE Sri Lanka Section called nominations for Twenty-Seven (27) awards under the award categories of Organizational Unit Awards, Special Activities Awards, Individual Volunteer Awards and External Recognitions.

Nomination Process

Nomination for the awards shall be submitted by filling out an online application. The nominee will have to fill out the nomination form and complete each section in a concise manner.

Judging Committee

The Judging Committee will include members from the IEEE Sri Lanka Section Executive Committee and prestigious IEEE Sri Lanka Section Volunteers.

The decision of the judging committee shall be final and cannot be challenged.

Award Instrument

A certificate & a token of appreciation.

Presentation

The awards will be presented at the IEEE SL SYW Congress 2023.

Record

The Awards Committee will maintain a record of award recipients on the IEEE Sri Lanka Section website (www.ieee.lk).

Publicity Rights

Information provided by the nominators for the IEEE Sri Lanka Section awards may be used for promotional and/or publicity purposes on IEEE websites, Facebook, Twitter & other social media handles, printed materials and press releases etc. By submitting a nomination, nominators and nominees agree to the release of submitted information

Evaluation Criteria

Each nomination will be evaluated with a predefined criterion and shall be given a score out of a hundred (100).
