Introduction to hackathon workshop which was organized by IEEE Student Branch, University of Ruhuna was held on Monday 10th of June 2019 at Electrical and Information Computer Centre, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna, with the participation of over 70 students. The 2 hours workshop aimed to share practical experience and understanding of a hackathon.
All the participants were guided to use HackerRank platform to practice codes and improve their coding skills. The students were encouraged to receive the badges given by HackerRank platform and some of the algorithm challenges were solved during the session.
