As the world’s largest professional association for advancing technology, IEEE recognizes sections around the world for their efforts in building and supporting their membership. This year, the IEEE Sri Lanka Section is proud to receive the Outstanding Member Retention and Recruitment Performance Award – 2025.

This award reflects the commitment of our volunteers, student branches, affinity groups, and technical chapters who have worked hard to make the Section active and welcoming. Through workshops, industry projects, webinars, and congresses, the Section has inspired new members while keeping existing members engaged and connected.

It is not the result of one person’s effort, but the strength of our community. Volunteering is never easy, yet our members and leaders continue to give their time and energy with passion and teamwork. Their dedication truly shows the spirit of IEEE Sri Lanka Section family.

Looking ahead, this achievement is both a proud moment and an inspiration. It reminds us that by working together, we can create more opportunities, support the next generation, and continue to strengthen the legacy of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section.
