Dear IEEE Members,

The Annual General Meeting of IEEE Sri Lanka Section will be held on Wednesday 16th of January 2019 at Hilton Colombo Residencies from 5.30pm onwards.

Date: Wednesday 16th of January 2019
Time: 5:30 pm onwards
Venue: Hilton Colombo Residencies (Jaic Hilton), 200 Union Place, Colombo 00200

The draft agenda of the AGM is as follows.

1. Welcome Speech by the chairman and announcement
2. Confirmation of the minutes of the Annual general meeting held on 7th February 2018
3. Matters arising from the minutes
4. Annual activity report presented by the chairman
5. Annual financial report presented by the treasurer
6. Awarding prizes to the winners of the IEEE competitions and the Sri Lanka section competitions
7. Registering IEEE as a company
8. Election of the Office bearers
9. Welcome speech by the new chairman
10. Any other matters
11. Vote of thanks by the new secretary

The AGM will be followed by the annual fellowship dinner.

All IEEE members (graduate student members and above) are invited for the AGM and the dinner. Accompanied non-IEEE members will be charged 4000LKR per person.
