This is the most awaited annual event of the global IEEE calendar where more than 5000 coding experts from every nook and corner of the world engage their mighty mind power to solve a number of coding challenges over a sleepless time span of 24 hours. The number of teams from Sri Lanka are increasing at a rapid rate and this year there were 100 teams from around the country representing various universities.

Sri Lanka reigned the global arena since the first time it is being hosted in Sri Lanka which was in 2009 by being the global champions while the most recent achievement in this contest being the 3rd in the world (team “oops”) in IEEEXtreme 8.0 in 2014. Another 4 teams secured its world rank among the top 100 this time and bringing glory to our Motherland. Following are the teams and their team members,
